Max Paul Maria ist ein gefeierter Singer/Songwriter und Gitarrist aus Berlin.

Mit seinen ehemaligen Punkbands Diving for Sunken Treasure und Vizediktator verdiente er sich sein Können und begab sich anschließend auf die herausfordernde Reise einer Solokarriere. Seine Musik konzentriert sich auf starkes und bedeutungsvolles Songwriting und kombiniert bodenständige Folk-Ehrlichkeit mit dem Biss und der Seele des Siebziger-Rocks und der rotzigen Attitüde und Dringlichkeit eines politischen Punk-Songs. Aber es gehört noch mehr dazu: In Zeiten wie diesen muss man aufmerksam bleiben und Max Paul Maria liefert eine gründliche und zugleich poetische Analyse der Komplexität des modernen Lebens. Auf seinem neuesten klangverändernden Album Paradigm Beach verführt er sein Publikum dazu, einen Blick hinter die harte Brillanz der Oberfläche zu werfen: die Komplexität von Systemen, die Ungerechtigkeit unserer Gier, das Streben nach persönlicher Freiheit und – endlich – die Möglichkeit einer Insel.

On his latest sound shifting album Paradigm Beach he beguiles his audience to take a look behind the hard brilliance of surface: the complexity of systems, the injustice of our greed, the strive for personal freedom and - at last - the possibility of an island.
